Hello! I’m Jagan Mohan Reddy Danda, a passionate researcher, educator, and technology enthusiast with a deep love for problem-solving and innovation. With over a decade of experience spanning academia and industry, I thrive at the intersection of data science, cybersecurity, and machine learning, striving to turn complex challenges into impactful solutions.

Academic Journey

My academic path has been an exciting blend of discovery and learning. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, specializing in Peer-to-Peer Network Traffic Classification. Prior to this, I completed my Master’s in Computer Science from Jadavpur University, focusing on advanced algorithms, machine learning, and AI. These academic milestones have fueled my drive to innovate and contribute to the rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Professional Experience

I’ve been fortunate to bridge academia and industry, contributing as:

  • Security Researcher at Cisco Systems, where I developed decentralized software supply chain security solutions using blockchain and dependency graphs.
  • Data Engineer, leveraging technologies like Spark, AWS, and Kafka to build robust, real-time data pipelines that optimize workflows and reduce costs.
  • Associate Professor at Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering, where I developed and taught cutting-edge courses in machine learning, cloud computing, and data science, guiding students to connect theory with real-world applications.

Key Skills & Certifications

With expertise in Python, Spark, React.js, Blockchain, and AWS, I stay at the forefront of technological advancements. I am also certified in AWS Data Analytics – Specialty and CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), ensuring my skills remain sharp and industry-relevant.

Research & Publications

My research contributions include over 20 peer-reviewed publications on topics ranging from AI-driven software defect prediction to neural networks for handwritten character recognition. These works have been featured in prestigious journals and conferences, including IEEE and Springer.
